Experimental Vaccines are not permitted according to authentic sources and that is the most accurate opinion on the topic. However, unfortunately many scholars are still issuing fataawa on it's permissibility based on the ingredients alone and/or on a special case basis.

Here is a short article from a news source where Bishops discourage the use of such vaccines. So why are our scholars permitting use of haram ingredients quoting scholars of the past based on information on other more life threatening illnesses than Covid-19? Recovery rate is much higher than mortality rate around the world.

Making a vaccine with cells descended from fetal tissue
CNN wrote:
Vaccine makers sometimes use fetal cell lines when developing a vaccine.

Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna used cell lines originating from fetal tissue to test their vaccines, whereas they were used in Johnson & Johnson's "development, confirmation and production,"according to Dr. James Lawler, an infectious disease expert at Nebraska Medicine.

Those cells are thousands of generations removed from the original fetal tissue, said Lawler.
Along with the use of cells, Johnson & Johnson's vaccine is made differently than the other two authorized vaccines.

The company developed an adenovirus vector vaccine, in which the adenovirus -- which has been modified to not cause illness -- carries genetic material with a coronavirus spike protein into a body so a person's cells can make the spike protein itself and activate their immune system against the virus, Lawler said.

Johnson & Johnson used the fetal cell line that it did because it is "a well-studied industry standard for safe and reliable production of viral vector vaccines," Lawler said.

replication-incompetent adenovirus type 26 expressing the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, citric acid
monohydrate, trisodium citrate dihydrate, ethanol, 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HBCD),
polysorbate-80, sodium chloride.

Use of aborted fetuses to create vaccine 'serious disappointment'
Quote:
The Columbus Catholic bishop said it is a "serious disappointment" that the latest COVID-19 vaccine to get FDA approval, Johnson & Johnson's, used cell lines from aborted fetuses in its production.

"Moreover, given that there are viable alternative cell lines, the decision to do so is puzzling," Bishop Robert Brennan said in a statement released Monday.

Brennan is one of several Roman Catholic leaders who have commented on the new vaccine, first distributed in Ohio on March 2.

That day, leaders of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) released a statement saying that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine raises questions about the "moral permissibility" of using vaccines "developed, tested and/or produced with the help of abortion-derived cell lines."

I need the scholars to clarify something here.

They said that the fetus that was aborted was done so many years ago and had gone through thousands of generational changes. The fetus samples were given numbers according to each change.

The scholars then said that due to this vast number of changes and the fact that the fetus met certain criteria and the reasons given for it to be aborted were also taken into consideration, the verdict of Halal was reached.

So the question now is, "What if the babies were aborted, INTENTIONALLY FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THIS EXPERIMENTAL MRNA VACCINE TECHNOLOGY, AND THE NUMBER OF BABIES ABORTED, EXCEEDED 70 IN NUMBER.

WOULD THAT VACCINE STILL BE HALAL?
