Q. Can we throw away beads, tasbeeh, etc on which zikr has been done, or are we supposed to keep them with respect? What if we don?t need it anymore or the tasbeeh broke and can?t use it anymore?
A. It is better to keep them with respect. You may also dispose of these beads by burying them.
Q. How does one dispose of a completely worn-out (and also torn) prayer mat?
A. One should dispose of it in the any respected manner possible. However, there is no stipulated method in disposing of a worn out prayer mat. One may bury it or cast it in the sea.
