I have been coming across fwds and posts on whatsapp that playing games with dice like snakes and ladders, ludo etc is haraam. Can anyone enlighten me on this please since i play ludo with my 10yr old son occassionally. And playing ludo initiative was taken inorder to keep him away from gadgets which he was addicted to.

It is only haram to play dice games if there is gambling involved. One must ensure playing these games does not lead to one neglecting his Shariee duties.
