Is there any book in English on the taṣawwuf methodology of Maulana Ashraf ʿAlī Thānvī?
If I’m not mistaken, Maulana Ashraf ʿAlī Thānvī followed Ṭarīqat Chishtiyyah, right?
Is there any book in English on the taṣawwuf methodology of Ṭarīqat Naqshbandiyyah?
There are many books written on the tasawuff methodology of maulana ashraf ali thanwi rh;
1. I would suggest you start with the ashrafiya website. www.ashrafiya.com/ 2. This link at the end has a translation of qasdus sabeel which is a nice summary of the methodology of maulana thanvi in terms ot tasawuff.
3. This site has some nice biographies of mashaikh linked to hazrat thanvi rh's silsila alhaadi.org.za/articles-publications/books.html 4. Search for any posts by user Dr76 on this forum. Previously the respected brother had done a huge amount of service online translating many works of the mashaikh of deoband from urdu to English. ALLAH SWT reward him well amin.
