We don't buy beef at home. Only time we cook beef at home is the dhabiha meat.

Brought:

Two packs of tortilla chips - I think I brought the Doritos brand (or was it the Morrisons 'Best' brand...erm cant remember).
Two jars of salsa mix - 1 mild and 1 hot/spicey. Doritos brand.
3 peppers - was actually looking for jelpeno peppers but local Morissions sold out.
Mozarella cheese - mmmmm love this cheese.
Olives - normal

Cooking Method:

Emptied out both tortilla chip packs into tray and spread out evenly.
Peppers cut (by missus)...(ill probably cut them smaller next time round) then spread out evenly over the tortillas
Mixed both the mild and hot salsas together then spread out evenly over the peppers and tortillas
Spread out plenty of mozzarella over the top evenly
Finished off by cutting olives and dashing them over the cheese.

Put under grill for about 10mins.

The above was easily enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (with some leftover for the next day too) as well as a third being sent to my mums house.

Don't worry, we know what you mean. MashaAllah, not many people talk to their parents these days, let alone cook with them. May Allah give us the ability to understand the importance of mothers, mother, mothers and fathers, along with the rest of the family.

@All, Please start and end your posts with MashaAllah. We don't want to cause "the evil eye" out of envy and jealousy :)

I forgot about this thread. A month or two a go I made a chocolate mud cake with butter icing. Heres a picture:

I kept the cake a bit too long in the oven so the sides were a little hard. The centre was perfect, in terms of softness, taste and was not dry. Although the butter cream does not look very neat it turned out perfect in regards to taste.
