In the case of beef and lamb products, the meat come from animal which are hand slaughtered by Muslims. In the case of chicken however this is done by a machine in the presence of a Muslim inspector to ensure that the bird is still alive after it has gone through a mildly electrified bain-marie.

I find it very sad to say that we will no longer be purchasing Halal products from Tahira as well as those certified by the same company that certifies your meat.
I have read the works of the Scholars who call this method as Halal and strongley disagree with it as do many many more Muslims.

It is very sad that many Muslims do not take their food seriously. They eat with their eyes closed and even when evidence from Quran and Sunnah are provided, they opt for logic.
The same issue with KFC, many many Muslims have boycotted their takeaways because of mechanical/stun slaughter and this will be the same for all those poultry who follow suite.
Since the UK standards allow kosher and Halal meat that do not need to meet the regulations, I and millions of other Muslims see no reason why they need to bend the rules. The conclusion would be so that these poultry can sell their products to the Halal and non Halal market.
It's a business strategy where the seller is in a win win situation, but Alhumdulillah, the Muslims will not sit back but boycott such products.
InshaAllah, the market for Haram meat which is certified as Halal will drop dramatically.
I am sure your intentions are pure, but it is sad to say that the Muslim businesses do not care for their faith as the Jewish community does.
May Allah guide us to the straight path and keep our intentions purely for his pleasure and not for gains in the dunya.

However, one last thing please.
It is not clear what the process is with the sheep and cows etc. Do they go through the stunning process too as well as mechanical slaughter (which I doubt) or are they shot or gassed before slaughtering.
This final query will help me understand better with regards to your meat.

But are they slaughtered by hand and by a Muslim slaughter man following the standard Islamic method and no machine used to slaughter?
The reason I ask is because according to Shaykh Yusuf al qardawi, any meat slaughtered by the people of the book is Halal NO MATTER HOW IT IS SLAUGHTERED.

This video clearly shows how mechanical slaughter cuts off the birds stomach, missing the throat completely. Some birds miss the blade and are dipped into the scalding tank alive.
Not the Islamic way. This is being Labelled as Halal
This is not to say that this is exactly how Tahira mechanically slaughter their chickens, this is just for reference.
There is a halal certification company by the name of Tahira.

We have consulted several ‘alims for that including the late Sheikhs Zaki Badawi and Mohammad Hussein Fadhlallah as well as Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi the mufti of Qatar.
Ten years since this thread was opened and even longer since we contacted them.
All Tahira products are STILL HARAM!
Although their meat is hand slaughtered, it is mixed with their chicken anyway.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
