Brothers & sisters
Looking for halal fish & chips have to try orient kebab & fish house on leuton high road. Top class, very fresh $ tender. It was so big but I could not stop till I finished it because of great taste. It was so traditionally british made by muslim brother. Perfect

i was in a different country with some friends. we slaughtered a 'doomba'; a type of sheep which has a sack of fat on its rear. we melted the fat over a fire and collected it to fry some chips. tasted like real traditional british chips : ) shame we didnt have any fish : (

Beer batter

Veg

Ingredients

250g/8oz plain flour

60g/2oz cornflour

300ml/10fl oz sparkling ale

300ml/10fl oz soda water

Preparation method

  1. Place the flours in a large bowl and whisk together.

  2. Add the beer and soda water and mix to incorporate.

  3. Whisk vigorously to get rid of any lumps.

  4. Let stand for 10 minutes and then whisk again for 30 seconds.

  5. If for some reason there are still lumps, simply strain them out.

  6. The batter will fry crisper if no salt is added and it is not refrigerated.

Clearly labelled as VEG but contains a whopping 300ml of ALE!!!!!!!!!!

Just as well I didn't put the juicy image from the new blog post.

Sitting at the computer, (not hungry), I decided to add plenty of blogs from the food section.

BTW I like mine with a little salt, a lot of vinegar and ketchup. Any other sides welcome too. I will accept free delivery anytime between 8:30pm - 9pm
