THE IMAM SAID, THE HALAL MEAT IS DONE ONLY BY MUSLIM SLAUGHTERMEN, AND NO MEAT OR POULTRY SLAUGHTERED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK IS INCLUDED IN THEIR HALAL MEAT. THE STATEMENT ON THEIR WEBSITE IS A GENERAL STATEMENT WHICH IS TO BE AMENDED TO STOP CONFUSION.

Who certifies the Halal meat?

Jazakallahu khair, From what I have understood so far from the Imam of IFI, is; Multi Species Dawn Farms product range and capability spans all meat types - from cooked beef, lamb, pork, ham, bacon, chicken and turkey, to fermented & dried products such as pepperoni, salami & chorizo.

Do you supply meat to ALL Subway franchises in the UK or just the Halal branches?

Dawn Farm Foods supply both the Halal and the non- Halal Subway stores in the UK. All meats are produced to Subway specifications and recipes. The halal meat products produced for Subway are certified by the IFI.


If IFI Certify the meat as HALAL for Subway, then who is HFM and Habibi?

Habibi is a branded range of high quality Halal cooked meats produced by Dawn Farms, suitable for use in all foodservice operations serving the Halal market. The Habibi range is certified by the HFM ,a private and reputable Irish Halal Certification Body which has been operational for a number of years and is known to the IFI.
