Wa'alaykumus salaam WW

Regarding the excercise:

Exercise:

Make five (5) sentences using هَـٰذِهِ as the first first word and then select any five masculine words as the second word (of the sentence) from the vocbulary table.

Q i'm most like missing something but why are we using the "haathihee" with masculine words?

Asslamo Allaikum Appa,

Typo has now been corrected.

Excercise:

هذِه النّافِذَة
هذِه البَقَرة
هذِه ماقَهْوة
هذِه البِنْت
هذِه النّافِذَة

Excerise with the interogative particle:

أ هذِه النّافِذَة؟
أ هذِه البَقَرة؟
هذِه متثَّلّا جَة؟ أ
أ هذِه ماقَهْوة؟
أ هذِه البِنْت؟
أ هذِه النّافِذَة؟

Asslamo Allaikum Aapa,

I am Sorry but this is not correct as you are making the Khabar (second word) definite by adding "Al" to it. This matter was discussed in your previous homework here:

http://www.muftisays.com/forums/arabic-lessons/6131/madina-series-book-1-lesson-6-%28part-1%29-.html

Please write as to what is confusing about this?

On the issue of lessons:

  • The subject of the thread says "Part 2"
  • Look at the link and go to "Part 2"
  • Thats all

If there is any confusion please let me know.

Jazakullah Khairun

wa'alaykumus salaam ww

I did understand about the khabr not being definite but somehow lost it when typing..sorry

About the link for the lesson: The lesson itself is fine, its set out well, but then we scroll down and its as though the lesson goes on and on and its as if i've done it before. The lessons before were such that i knew where they ended. Sorry but i keep going up and down trying to work out if its one lesson or more...hope i havnt made it even more confusing.

Could i request admin to add the size option please?

Ustadh Muadh, It was easy when the lessons were actually on this site too, we can stick to a set method of learning in small steps inshaAllah.

Asslamo Allaikum Aapa & Brother,

I just double-checked how it is typed.

http://central-mosque.com/index.php/Arabic/madina-book-1-chapter-6.html

  • Thread says: Madina Series Book 1: Lesson 6 (Part 2)
  • The site says: Madina Series Book 1: Lesson 6 (Part 2)
  • All Parts are seprated by a dividing line

Please inform me of your confusion and how else to separate the parts and label them and I am willing to change and consider your request. I am very confused as to how you are confused as it appears to be clearly marked?

Each chapter needs to flow and the student needs to look at the parts (and be able to go back and forth) and the site is fulfilling that function better then the forum but please inform me of how to improve it.

Jazakullah Khairun

No confusion from.my side, just thought it would be good to have the Arabic ing the same page we would be working from rather than moving pages.
