Salafees quote Imam Taimiyah, but they miss many of his quotes.

This is quoted from the book "Maswadah" by Imam Taimiyah: Also quoted by Imam Qayyim in his book Aalamul Moqieen " ????? ????????" :
Some one asked Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal RA
"Can somone get elevated as Faqeeh if he memorises one lakh ahadeeth"
"No"
"two lakh ahadeeth"
"No
"3 lakh ahadeeth"
"No"
"4 lakh ahadeeth"
Imam Ahamed replied "yes"
We conclude that when a person studies and understands 4 lakh ahadeeth he can get elevated as faqeeh (Jurist) and can give fatwah (opinion/ruling) through his ijtehaad.

  • and Dawud al-Ta�i (105 � 162) and Fudayl ibn �Iyad (107 � 187) in their asceticism and their scrupulousness?

The one whose sitting partners are such, he does not come close to erring, because if he erred they would correct him.�

What about Hazrath Ali RA, Abdullah ibn Masud RA, ibn Umar RA, Zaid bin Thaabith RA, Abu Hurairah RA and many other senior Sahabah. Did Shaykh Asim analyse that saheeh ahadeeth didn't reach these senior sahabah, so they differ with sunnah of prophet SAS (as researched by the salafees)

Note:list is available on salafees claim that, sahabah differed with Nabi SAS.

Salafee demand authentic reference/proof from ahnaf for every mas'alah.

Here opinion is offered and reference is missing. On what basis is it haraam.
