Someone quoted following ayah claiming following Hanafi Madhab is misguidance.
“When it is said to them: “Follow what Allah has sent down.” They say: “Nay! We shall follow what we found our fathers following.” (Would they do that!) even though their fathers did not understand anything nor were they guided.”
Maulana replied: Will you allow your son to be a Hanafi.
Reply: No!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never.... He shall follow me. He shall continue with the way I am following.
Maulana: Your son is following his fore fathers. So he is on gumraahi (misguidance). And he is doing taqleed of his father and you say taqleed is shirk.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
