56. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad that Ibrahim said, 'The pregnant woman always prays until she has given birth even if she sees blood, because pregnancy is not menstruation. If she makes a bequest, and then has a painful delivery and dies, then the bequest comes out of the third [of her property which she may leave as a bequest to people or causesother than her heirs].'"

Muhammad said, "We adhere to all of this and it is the verdict of Abu Hanifa رضي الله عنه."

The Prophet (salallahu 'alahyi wa sallam) said, "If any of you women experience what men experience, let her take a ghusl."'"

Muhammad said, "We adhere to this and it is the verdict of Abu Hanifa, may Allah, exalted is He, have mercy on him."

21. THE CALL TO PRAYER

58. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us saying 'Hammad narated to us that Ibrahim said, "There is no harm in in the mu'adhin making the call to prayer when he is not in wudu.'""

Muhammad said, "We adhere to this and we see no harm in it, but we disapprove of him making the call to prayer while in the need of ghusl because of sexual relations."

59. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us saying, 'Hammaad narrated to us from Ibrahim that he said, about the mu'adhin talking during his call to prayer, "I do not tell him to do it and I do not forbid him."'"

Muhammad said, "As for us, we think that he should not do it, but that if he does do it, it does not invalidate his call to prayer, and that is the verdict of Abu Hanifa, may Allah, exalted is He, have mercy on him."

60. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that he [Hammad] said, 'I asked him about tathwib [summoning a second time] and he said, "it is a part of which people have innovated, but it is one of the good things they have innovated," and he mentioned that their tathwib was when the mu'adhin finished his call to prayer, "Prayer is better than sleep."'"

Muhammad said, "We adhere to this and it is the verdict of Abu Hanifa, may Allah, exalted is He, have mercy on him."

62. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad that Ibrahim said, 'The call to prayer and the iqamah are [called repeating each phrase] two at a time.'"*

Muhammad said, "We adhere to this and it is the verdict of Abu Hanifa, may Allah, exalted is He, have mercy on him."

*But according to Malik and ash-Shafi'i it is said once [each phrase] except for the phrase "Prayer is about to begin" which is said twice [according to ash-Shafi'i but once according to Malik]. We have the Hadith of Abdullah ibn Zayd that the angel which descended rom heaven brought the adhan and then said theiqamah in the same way, and the hadith of Abdullah is fundamental concerning the adhan and the hadith Abu Mahdhurah, in which there is that the adhan is 17 phrases which is only the case when paired.

63. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us saying , 'Talhah ibn Musarrif narrated to us that Ibrahim said, "When the Muadhdhin says, 'Hasten to success,' people ought to stand and form the rows, and then when the Muadhdhin says, 'Prayer is about to begin,' the Imam should say his takbeer."'"

Muhammad said, "We adhere to this and this is the verdict of Abu Hanifa, may Allah, exalted is he have mercy on him. But if the Imam waits until the Muadhdhin finishes his iqamah and then says his takbeer, there is also no harm in this, and all of that is good."

22. THE TIMES OF THE PRAYER

65. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that a man came to the Prophet (salallahu 'alahyi wa sallam) to ask him about the the time of the prayer, and he told him to attend the prayers (for 2 days) with the Messenger of Allah (salallahu 'alahyi wa sallam). Then he told Bilal رضي الله عنه to be early with the prayers [at the beginnings of their times]. On the second day, he told him to delay all of the prayers [to the later parts of their times]. Then he said, 'Where is the person who asked about the time of the prayer? What is in between these two is the time.'"

Muhammad said, "We adhere to this. Maghrib and the other prayers are the same in this respect in our view, except that we disapprove of delaying it when the sun has set, and that is the verdict of Abu Hanifa."

66. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that Umar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said, 'Delay Zhur until the coolness following the intense heat of Jahannam.'"

Muhammad said, "Zuhr is delayed in the summer until it is cooler, but in the winter it is prayed when the sun declines from the meridian [at the beginning of its time], and that is the verdict of Abu Hanifa, may Allah, exalted is He, have mercy on him."

67. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad that Ibrahim said, 'Ibn Masud رضي الله عنه looked at the sun when it set and said, "This is its decline[duluk]."

Refering the the ayah, "Establish salah from the time the sun declines (duluk)..." Surat al-Isra:78)
Duluk is either interpreted as the setting of the sun or its delining from the meridian.
