I find it extremely disturbing that brothers who seem very confident that they are upon the sunnah of our beloved Prophet
play around with words to defend a highly respected figure in their society when he has corrupted views and is corrupting the innocent Muslims that pray in the local masjid.
It is from the methodology of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah to refute the innovators and the deviants and to make matters clear when people fall into doubt.
Our brother Muadh Khan has misquoted Imam Malik and asked for the discussion to be closed.
I don't think the brothers we're actually debating HOW Allaah rose over his throne, they were discussing the meaning of Istiwa and not the 'Kayfeeyah' of it.
A man asked Imam Malik (d. 179): "How did Allah make istiwa' on the throne?" Imam Malik inclined his head and was silent until the sweat of fever covered his brow, then he looked up and said: "Istiwa' is not unknown (ghayru majhul), the how of it is inconceivable in the mind (al-kayfu minhu ghayru ma`qul); but belief in it is obligatory, and inquiring about it is a heretical innovation. You are an innovator." And he gave orders for him to be taken out.
This is because the man asked HOW Allaah rose over his throne.
If it is an innovation to discuss the meaning of Istiwa, then our brother Muadh is an innovator because he said

Here he has clearly given a meaning to Istiwa.
The position of Ahlussunah Wal Jama'ah is very clear in this regards, it is unanimously agreed that the meaning of Istiwa is that "Allaah rose over his throne (in a manner that suits his majesty)" and is used as a proof that Allaah is above the heavans.
The mubtadi'ah fall into many problems when discussing Allaah. They change the meanings of the words and deny that which Allaah and his Messenger
said.

Anyone who has studied basic 'Aqeedah knows that this is the definition the innovators give for Istiwa.
I would like Muadh to explain to us the position of Ahlussunah, which one is correct and what is the ruling of the one who differs in this part of 'Aqeedah?
1) Then he focussed on the heavens, he turned his attention to the heavens
2) The he rose over his throne
I hope the brothers here follow the true methodology of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah and expose this man for his innovations.
Once the brothers here can accept this, I kindly ask them to stop advertising his course on Aqeedah Tahawiyyah (Part 2). Everyone has to safeguard their 'Aqeedah, it can't be taken off people whose 'Aqeedah contradicts with the 'Aqeedah of Ahlussunnah.
