How would Shaykh Abdur-Raheem Limbada feel if someone called Shaykhul-Hadeeth (Maulana) Zakariyya (RA) the same any day of the week let alone in Ramadhan and in Aitekaaf?
I have heard worse statements by the Barelwi about Shaykhul-Hadeeth Maulana Zakariyya (RA)
I've heard the first 45 minutes and so far the message is very fulfilling. All about respect and love for the Salaf-as-Saliheen. It's difficult to listen to it all at once (distractions) but inshaAllah I will provide my input once I've heard it all.
Any indications to where abouts the portions are that's caused a little discomfort?
Well, as Mufti saab has made a comment which has been disliked, not many people will actually listen to the talk to hear why and when the comments were made. For this reason I went through the trouble of typing out that part of the talk so non listeners are kept in the picture. To give the exact time was a lot easier.
I've heard the portion in question and most of the rest too. From what I've heard, I've heard nothing wrong.
The one quote "stupid idiot didn't know" was about a grave claim by Albani claiming Nabi is buried "in" the Masjid. So yes "Stupid" was probably correct in the context but "idiot" was not necessary.
Besides, this talk is over 3 hours. Why must we find one word spanning half a second to fault the entire thing? You might find more than one thing too, please ponder the following:

Look into yourselves my friends, what are you?
Imagine a big beautiful garden, with thousands of wonders to view and smell. However somewhere in the garden a dog has come and relieved itself. Now if you went into the garden would you pay any attention to the excrement? Definitely not!
However, if a pig were to stroll in, it would miss out all the flowers and beauty and would certainly trace the excrement
As personally, I think it's about time a proper detailed talk was done in this regard. I for one truly appreciate it. jazakallah abu Mohammed for posting it.
According to the Hanafi and Maliki Madhhabs, it is disliked (makruh) to perform Tahajjud and other Nafl prayers in a congregation. The Shafi'i Madhhab regards the Sunnah in offering them individually, whilst according to the Hanbali Madhhab, offering a Nafl prayer in congregation is totally permissible.
whats the point wrt taraweeh and tahujjud jamaat? no ones discussing those two issues here.
we're talking about how a salafi masjid which only opened less then 2 years ago that only has a capacity of no more than 150 is running rings around the 2 main Deo masjids in the area that has been there for 30 years plus, has a joint capacity of least 5000, has least 50+ UK farig ulama and 45+ UK fariq aalimahs all in a radius of 10mins drive.
firstly theres some 'history' wrt the ahle hadith in the stokey area - going back about 25+ years and theres also a matter of alot of $$ also going back 25+ years - i'll fill you in on the history if/when i see you
3 further examples ...let me see if you get if this time.
1 - Sisters from a VERY prominent deeni Deo/Guji family (and i mean VERY) go there to learn .....Arabic (or was it Tajweed classes?)
2 - A friend of mine who lives further down in Shortditch, who's brother is a mureed of Shaykh Husaain Farooqi (db) goes there to learn ....Arabic
3 - A Deo/Guji brother from Clapton prays there regularly in Ramdhan as he said they have sisters facilities so his wife comes also.
conclusion X, Y and Z and going there INITIALLY because the offering/services in the large Deo Masjids are next to non-existent despite in the bank and huge masjid buildings with plenty of empty spaces least 80% of the time being used for nothing. NONE of above three have gone there because they feel 'their' aqeeda and/or fiqh is correct . Thats something they bring in later when they're 'warmed' up by the 'services/classes' they offer...
simple pimple = make your offerings/services/classes etc such that theres no need for 'us' to even think about going there for these as they already provided, and provided in a professional and efficient/effective way. otherwise no how matter big your masjid is, how much you have in the bank, how many houses you have on rent or even if you get a eminent scholar giving a talk smashing salafi's aqeeda and beliefs ....you'll become history in a very short time.
I have no comments to make wrt tahujjah jamaat. this thread is about salafi's. Please start another topic on tahujjud. actually it was already discussed last year - use the search function.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
