As-Salaam alaykum,
In Ayat 31 of Surat Ali-Imran of the Holy Qur'an (3:31), Allah, Azzah Wa Jallah says:--

"SAY ( O Messenger of Allah): IF YOU LAVE ALLAH, THEN FOLLOW ME AND
ALLAH WILL LOVE YOU AND FORGIVE YOU YOUR SINS."

And Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said:--

"A metaphor for me and that which I was sent is a man who comes to a people and says: 'My people! I have seen the (enemy) army with my own eyes! I am a clear warner! Save yourselves! save yourselves!' A group of his people obey him and set out at nightfall unhurriedly and are saved.

Another group disbelieve him and when morning comes, they are still in the same place. The (enemy) army attacks and annihilates them. This is a metaphor for those who obey me and follow the (message) which I have brought and for those who disobey me and deny the truth which I have brought." [Bukhari and Muslim].

In view of the foregoing, it is imperative that we follow the Noble Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, in our lives.... in all we do.
