5th time: My intention was not to discuss Halal/Haram, adding cow urine or Prasad/Deewali perspective but from a social / cultural perspective.

Haram is Haram, no need for discussions. This is to discuss social /cultural aspects of "Halal" sweets.

Your intentions may not have been wanting to discuss the halal's or haram's but you wanted to know the difference between the two.

These are the only differences you will find.

it will come down to ingredients - permissible - non permissible. otherwise mithai is mithai.

Try the sweet warkhee samosa in Mumbai ..its heavenly . expensive and a very very rich taste .
Don't know if that's a Hindu or a Muslim mithai.

As far as I know the food snacks etc market is divided but Muslims have a huge edge when it comes to variety and taste.

The good thing about technology is that even the small sweet snack shops will courier to any corner of the country if you pay them in advance. Just bank transfer the money and place your order. Mumbai is even famous for the variety I'd sewiyan (vermicelli?)

My brother saw them in Morrison's and sent me a picture. Here's the same packages from another blogger..

You can get them as Chocolate, Peanut butter or Hazelnut and chocolate samosa.
