AAWW Ramdhan Kareem to all,

I found this local blog quite useful in trying to stick to a healthy (and tasty) suhoor and iftar. Its run by an ex-school friend who lives in Stoke Newington (Hackney N16).

haloodiefoodie.weebly.com/ .

Please feel free to share with others.

Mufti Saab says if you see samosa's instead of the fatwa, you have been affected and need urgent treatment.

Plenty of brothers here know some very good Aamils, maybe they can advice, otherwise a drip of ketchup should suffice :)

If I see him, I'll ask him what he think's of this HMC place. "Loaded" (Loaded Gourmet Burgers & Fries)

I tell you what, I was taken there the other day and all I could say after seeing the food was, "Inna lillahi wa innaa ilayhi rajioon"

www.facebook.com/LoadedBurgers

I ordered the smallest burger I could find and it was still huge, the only difference was it didn't have the top half of the bun, hence it was called topless.

When I first saw the pictures (which aren't on the menu) I thought they were pulling my leg.

That's crazy...it reminds me of the place in America called 'heart attack' the food their is meant to clog up your arteries and give you a heart attack.

What happened to eating less at iftar? Anyway, think pics of food should be temporarily disabled during Ramadhan, very distracting!

Thats man v food style

He has been there

That's local to me, nice place, food is good, gets busy so sometimes long to get a table or order, but overall quality food

I would say that especially when I know the owners and share the same village back home

And get loyalty points for writing a good review :)

how would you even eat that thing? only way i can think of is by dismantling it and eating it a bit at a time, which then defeats the purpose of a burger.

True, it was stupid. Everyone was eating their burgers with a knife and fork.

I won't be going back there anyway.

Only the Pinacolada drink was nice and huge in comparison to other places, but really expensive too.
