If anyone has any stories then post them up, some of these are hillarious. Note some might be fabricated.

Quote:
Hadhrat Worship

A brother told me the funniest story I have heard in a long time in regards to Hadhrat Worship.

If your mouth will drop after reading this and be offended then please don't read any further.

Brother says there's someone who is Junaid Baghdadi's rahimullah Khalifah anyway him (the Khalifa ) and his mureed are taking a stroll somewhere when they end up reaching the sea, the Shaikh says to the mureed lets walk on the sea so he says to him just keep saying 'Ya Junaid Ya Junaid' and keep walking, anyway shaykh and mureed are now walking on the sea saying 'Ya Junaid Ya Junaid' and there doing fine, a while passes and the mureed gets a waswasa/idea/doubt that you know what this is wrong and I shouldn't be saying Ya Junaid but Ya Allah, so he starts saying Ya Allah Ya Allah, now the Shaikh is waking but now the mureed starts to sink now, Shaikh looks back and say Ya Khabees what have you done ? He says I had a doubt that saying Ya Junaid is shirk so I decided to say Ya Allah instead. Shaykh has a fit and says Khabees start saying Ya Junaid again and then says, pehlay siiri/manzil shaykh hai ( first step/level is Shaikh) main na milla to Allah bhi nahi millay gha ( if you don't listen and connect with me then you won't get Allah either )

Lol I couldn't stop laughing, but a sad truth of today.

السلام عليكم

The Wind talkers

Baba Budangiri hills is a sceneic location in the beautiful Malnad hills and one of the highest in karnataka, India.

This place was once a seat of Qadri Mashaikh who travelled from far and wide preaching deen of Allah سبحانه وتعالى , which today is a hotbed of all possible bidah under the sun.

It has a treasure trove of valuable medicinal plants which also gets exported. The Shaikh Jamaluddin Zakariya Maghribi رحمة الله عليه is credited with introducing coffee to India 600 yrs back. where he came from.. has different narrations.

Khair.. I used to visit this place for the Medicinal Herbs & stuff and of course the serenity here was really ajeeb..

On my first visit there i reached quite late in the night and settled myself in the corner of the centuries old Masjid.. the prayers i learnt were led by the Sajjada (care taker).. who claimed direct lineage with the Mashaikh there..

Anyway it was Fajr time and all eyes were at the door to catch a glimple of the Noble sajjadah.. and the moment he showed up was reminiscent of Her Highness stepping out of the Buckingham Palace..

I was on the first row.. so close (& lucky) to the Hazrat.. Salah began.. his Qiraat was strange .. (Me wondering what to do if his surah fatihah was wrong and if i needed to repeat the Salah)

khair.. he went in Ruku and passed wind quite loudly.. it was the time when i had freshly read Bahishti Zewar and was anticipating the move by Hazrat to hold his nose and move reverse..

Nothing of that sort happened and he completed the prayer.. mumbled some dua in Arabic and stood to receive the people..

This was no ordinary reception.. the people werent there to shake his hands.. they all went down in sajdah to kiss his foot..! this was a serious jaw dropper..

Never seen anything like that before.. khair i repeated my salah.. and wondered what to do for the noon prayer since it was also Jumu'a..

Jum'a should be an important event at this place i wondered.. and where could i escape to..

I did my usual Jum'a Mamulaat.. and was seated in the same row like before wondering what worst to expect.. to my surprise someone announced that Hazrat would not be there for the prayers today.. and anyone may lead..

Comforted now by the announcement i lay in wait for the Imam.. and to further surprise the people approached this 12th grader to lead the prayer..

They gave me a khutbah book ( may be Hazrat's favourite, i dont know) and i led the salah.. khair they had to pray behind this Wahabi.. in the absence of The wind talker[/url] Hazrat of a different kind.. :-)

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى save us all..

duas..

wa Assalam..

The sad part of the Place at Budangiri Hills now is that due to the reckless attitude by caretakers.. the local hindus have staked a claim that it belonged to a datta swami of thiers blaming the Muslims for encroachment..

They wouldnt give a damn who datta swami was .. but its a big business.. apart from the land and Medicinal plants..

The Most ironical i saw was the Mazaar of Hazrat Imam Rabbani Mujaddid Alf Thani رحمة الله عليه at Sirhind .. when i went there in 1996.. the caretakers had kind of deobandi outlook ( i dont remember if they were outright deobandi).. there was no Chadar (Sheets of cloth).. boards were around restricting photography.. no women allowed.. etc.. with a large board outside saying Biddat strictly prohibited..

I went there in 2012 and saw the management had changed.. there were large frames of Maulana Ahmed Reza khan Barelwi and his Malfuzaat (sayings) and every other nonsense imaginable.. and the board outside still read - Biddat strictly prohibited.

The other place was Baras having Mazarat of Ambiya karam.. Alhamdulillah.. nothing dodgy i saw there..

The Mazaar of Hazrat Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlawi رحمة الله عليه.. his Noble father رحمة الله عليه and worthy sons are all togather.. and nothing u can find there.. Alhamdulillah..

Also at Hazrat Mirza Mazhar Janjanan رحمة الله عليه the Naqshbandi master there is nothing dodgy to be found.. its next to his Khanqah where the giant of Hadeeth Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Ghani Mujaddidi رحمة الله عليه gave lessons to Hazrat Maulana Rasheed Ahmed Gangohi رحمة الله عليه and Hazrat Maulana Qasim nanotawi رحمة الله عليه

Rest i have been to Raipur Shareef.. Mazar e Qasmi graveyard at Deoband.. the Mazar of Hazrat Maulana Rasheed Ahmed Gangohi رحمة الله عليه at Gangoh.. and Hazrat Miyanji Noor Muhammed Jhanjhanwi رحمة الله عليه.. well there is nothing one can say about these places..

wa Assalam..

I cant tell if the thumbs down was

  • Accidental
  • By a Mureed
  • Some one who just realized they did Salah behind you
  • Or a "Windtalker"

I'm gonna go for "Accidental"

yes alhamdulillah deobandi graves would be far removed from such bidats....well if the hazrat worshippers were to be believed sajdah and tawaaf would be prevailent there.

There's a famous Mazhar in Pakistan in Punjab where it says 'Sajdah here is allowed in Tariqat but forbidden in Islam'. Unfortunately many seem to take this as a daleel that allows them to do Sajdah.

Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazhar in Karachi, had a water hand tap (nalka) which apparently used to give milk out back in the day rather than water, what people started doing was they started to sell the milk, the milk stopped.

A lot of famous mazhars in Pakistan etc as well with a lot of saintly stories surrounding them, truth is now they are just money making schemes and full of thugs and idiots, famous Mazhar in Lahore of Ali Hijwari also known as Data Saab, his Mazhar is run by a bunch of thugs who will harass you to make a Dheg of biryani, the stuff they use is horrible and mostly old. People fall into it as they have taken a manat (oath) that if they get the desired outcome of a certain thing then they'll go to a Mazhar and get a Dheg made to feed the poor who are already there ( most are poor and heroin addicts). Also at this Mazhar there are fights between parties who are in charge of the administration of the place as to who will be mainly in charge on a yearly basis, as power here means money, the fights here involve guns and usually people are killed in the process.

The other mazhars are hotbeds for sins, Biddah, shirk and maybe even kufr. The sheets that people buy to put on the graves, go back to the shops to be sold again. Pardah is non existent in some places. high level of shirk takes place here were people are directly asking from the shaikh. The Saint lying there has nothing to do with it, just that the people who came after them made it a business for money and power, and all of it is done on the Shaykhs name who is now dead lying in the ground. Sad but true, these places should be avoided at all costs.

May Allah protect us and forgive us.
