If cost is not an issue, then take some time to really think it through insha'Allah.

I think it is a fantastic idea. Most people keep laying hens... not for the meat but for the eggs.

The sole good thing about chickens is the taste.. the rest is.. for others..
One of my relative is really crazy after chicks and when they become those.. big thingies.. !
What i have noticed that you need to have love for them and need to be '' that kinda person''
Would one get rewards for keepin chickns as pets?

It's only a matter of 3 days, why don't you just buy it from the butcher's. Easy, quick clean, cheap, experienced Zabiha, and it'll taste like chicken and not turkey. They'll cook quickly too.

A little bit harsh, but it's true.

Obviously Allah has created the chicken/eggs for consumption, but they must be treated well as they do have that right.
