^^ akhi, I'm talking as per my country. In 1997 they are on the beginning of mainstream. mostly under the "we brought authentic Islam teachings from Madinah and Makkah" flag... before this they had existed, but they never been more mainstream like since that year.

they even dared to hijack the name Imam Shafi'i for the name of one of their publisher. Really sad attempt.... This publisher initially had longtime symbol of one-eye! then they changed its symbol recently into a shape of pyramid with obelisk and a point on top of obelisk that really looks like shining eye above it. (Wallahi it makes me wonder, are they somehow connected to Illuminati or what? Given the benefit of doubt, the eye could be unintentional. But why then, the pyramid thingy on their second symbol??)

Yes bidat, shirk and tajsim aqeedah are grave issue with dangerous consequences for imaan and amal of spouse and children, but nowadays people don't look at these as serious issues with too much tolerance for deviant beliefs. They should be top priority on list of items to check compatibility.
