Well couple of Centuries ago there before digital transfer of information, morse code was used for communication through Telegraph and even primitive methods such as smoke beacons etc.

It draws upon the fact that the word "Buffalo" in the English language has 3 meanings:
(1) Its an animal
(2) Its a city in NY.
(3) Its a long-forgotten verb. "To Buffalo" someone is to bully/intimidate them.
Its a trick in the English language called "Lexical Ambiguity". As silly and nonsensical as the sentence may look, it actually makes perfect sense and there is nothing wrong with it grammatically.

Shaikh e Tareeqat.. greatest Mutakallim of kalam..etc.. This Ahmed Javed sahab and Javed Ahmed Ghamdi are two different people.. former is with beard and the latter beardless..

Recite:
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
"O Allah, You are pure, I praise You and testify that there is none worthy of worship besides You. I seek forgiveness and pardon from You". If there was good talk in the gathering, this dua will seal it and if there was futile and vain talk, then this dua will recompense for it.
Yesterday our Ustadh was telling us some incidents from his academic life in Darul Uloom Deoband. Many students go to jamaat in vacation. During 2007, his jamaat was sent to a remote village. They went on foot because the village was so backward that no vehicles could reach. A hundred of Muslims and more or less forty Hindu families lived there. Local market sat only one day in a week. When they reached, the local market was over. There was only one shop but there were only rice, turmeric, salt and oil. They bought these and cooked, but no one was interested to eat that food. New members of the jamaat were not willing to stay longer. Seeing no other way, our Ustadh and another member went out to explore other areas to search vegetables or meat or anything to cook. They walked all day and it was the time of Maghrib. They were thinking where to make Salah. Suddenly he noticed a small room with a loudspeaker on the roof and rushed towards it, thinking it as a Masjid. But they saw a Hindu guy sitting inside on a chair. That guy said it was a telephone shop. They asked why there was loudspeaker on the roof. He replied that the purpose of the loudspeaker was to announce when any call would come from a relative of the villagers so that the respective person could come and receive call. They inquired him about meat or vegetables. He said that as slaughtering cows were strictly banned in that area, therefore some Muslims would secretly sell beef during midnight in a hut. They came back to the jamaat and went to that hut during midnight riding on bicycle. They were amazed to see that price of beef was too cheap. Despite this cheap price local people would buy only 250 grams, 500 grams or 1 kg of meat. Our Ustadh bought twenty kilograms. People were staring at him surprisingly.
Due to some needs our Ustadh required to return Darul Uloom. He started walking with his bag. As there were no constructed road there, he was worried to cross the whole distance on foot. Suddenly a Hindu guy riding on a motorcycle appeared and asked- "Allaah wala, kahan jayenge?" (O Ahlullaah, where will you go?). He told Darul Uloom's name and the guy gave a lift. Despite being a Hindu, the guy was so hospitable that he went to some persons who would commute through the road of Darul Uloom, in order to hand over Moulana saheb to them. but no one was going Darul Uloom that day, so he himself moved forward and carried Moulana till reached the highway where vehicles were available to reach Darul Uloom.
