You can even edit your post and make the image visible.

Once the image is uploaded and the post has been updated, open the attachment, copy the url (web address of the image), select "Edit" then add the image codes at the beginning and the end of them then once again update the post and inshaAllah your post will show the image too. See the thread mentioned earlier to adjust size etc. If the post needs authorizing, please be patient as one of us will attend to it as soon as possible.

InshaAllah, if I get the chance, I'll show you my method of how I take a screen shot and upload it via the computer when I get to a computer.

Cool! I needed help because I wanted to start translating a book from Arabic to English and wanted to post a pic (from my phone or PC) of each page that I translate so I can get help from others in any corrections that may be needed.

Just got this on whatsapp along with the vid.

👆
Fajr athan in Madina, instead of hayya alas salah (come to salah) the muazzin says as salatu fi rihalakum (perform salah in your houses) due to extreme rain. This is also a sunnat off rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم.. Alhamdulillah being revived in our days

Interesting Mash'Ala

This post has been reported. It could be due to breaking rules or something as simple as bad use of bbcodes which breaks the page format. We will attend to this soon.

By the way, if more people use your fancy new word you better believe it will become part of the language. Tha juz haw id iiiiz, yo!

No one called anyone dumb, dumber or dumberer.

It clearly states that the suggestion isn't a wise one (to put it nicely)

Do you honestly think pimping up a language will make it become the language? The last bit looks like gibberish to me unless it's a transliteration of another language.

How we portray ourselves in our speech builds our character too. We can be kind, we can be funny, we can make suggestions, we can glorify our words, we could reck our persona, we could show another side non has seen, we could imitate the lowest of the low....it all shows our true character.

Recent posts have just been an attack directly or indirectly trying to prove an unnecessary point.

Why can't everyone grow up and be mature and stop this nonsense.

Calling someones suggestion dumb is not kind. Right now, you are showing your 'true character' by imitating the 'lowest of the low.' Read your own words.

And yes, 'pimping' up a language can eventually make it part of the language, as is evident in the history of the English language itself.

جزاك الله خيرا

Precisely my point. What was the need to make a very valid point become such an issue?

A random word (worser) was used and joked about, then clarified with an authentic source (wikipedia).

There is no need to make an attempt to make other posts look like they were foolish to make such a statement.

The term dumb was used to go in line with another supposed word "dumberer" to again go in line with "worser".

The post was also ended on a note clearly stating that it was pure sarcasm.

No offense was intended, nor made. If the readers read the post in any other way, then I take full blame for it.

The post was meant to be read in full in line with the other posts and not dissected.

Remember it was "Sarcastic" as clearly stated.

Auntie Acacia, no offense. Your posts have been far from dumb, many of them have been very educational.

We should all keep up the good work and stop this "Look who's talking" attitude. It's not going to get us anywhere.

Uncle Arsalan, just for the record, I wouldn't want anyone to think that what you have quoted from my post is actually from auntie Acacia, kindly edit your post and fill in my name in place of Acacia.

JazakAllah for pointing that out.

You're right, we better end this soon before you further misconstrue the idea of sarcasm.

wassalaam.

Whoa Nellie!

Thank you for making an issue out of things and actually proving many points for those who are hopefully reading these lovely words.

FYI young man, the word was 'picked' on very recently when a member typed it and, whether it is a typo or not, it should not have been pointed out in the first place. Otherwise... brother, I hate to say this but perhaps your post will be next in line for the spelling police.

This is not a 'formal' setting so insha'Allah people can relax and not be so darn rigid with language.

Sometimes, saying something directly doesn't get through, but with an attempt to attract attention and using descriptive language, many messages are put across. So by making myself look low, brings out the message that needs to be heard. The lesson of kindness is key here, where has all the kindness disappeared to. Slowly all is being revealed.

Correcting someone nicely or pointing something out all goes down to the users in question. User Jinn was quick to react in a positive way. He didn't make it personal, in fact he continued with the "fun". Many users continued to use it. Others tend to be taking out a vendetta and continuing in such a pursuit that has no end.

It's obvious who's doing all the "picking"

Why?

It's all childish behavior/behaviour in my opinion. By all means you and anyone else can agree to disagree.

Call it reverse psychology or not, but I've seen enough to prove my point (to myself in the least)

Ajeeb... that is more or less what I said... Even had a thread about it but, some things are not easily digested I suppose. I certainly hope your words are being read.
