This is amazing, how did you know the color of the bike. Poor lighting as I used my Galaxy note to quickly take the pic and share. Col Sahib has some special powers.

On a Pakistani forum two people got into your argument so one asked for others age and they replied, "Higher than your IQ but much less than your waist size"

Obviously kids but it is kind of funny...

Instead of buying a new watch I decided to do more research on my existing watch and its pedigree.

The problem is that existing spring bars are too flimsy for heavy lump of watch and punishment its taking on my wrist so I need these double flanged ones from USA (specially made) to hold the weight of the watch and not rattle the strap. If they don’t fit, I need to drill the watch and make the holes fatter to make them fit.

Nice project so I have decided to get the fatter spring bars and experiment with creating a custom watch because it’s more fun.  What I would do then is to fit my own style strap to it.

After these double flanges babies I may have to change the strap and replace with a lighter version than the current heacy steel one to make the watch lighter!

I will get bored after a while and buy the other watch anyways but until then sounds like fun :p

The only watch i ever bought in my life was for Rs 150/- (may be few rupees more or less)

I was an undergraduate at Medical school and the expensive one gifted by my dear father stopped working. i wouldnt dare hand it to the local repair shops.
it only needed new batteries, but still.

This new shiny watch worked fine for the next few months till the metal strap began to corrode and left green marks on my wrist.. thats when i decided to get rid of it..

later on the expensive ones came in as gifts..

The one i like to wear while in India is the Seiko Titanium.. good.. sturdy.. light watch.. ideal for Pedal Jamaat..
