I've had Sheep brain, AKA Magaj when I was in Hajj almost 20 years ago.
Yes it tastes like egg, but more like boiled egg, really nice dish. Alhumdulillah.

We used to have it at home too, but they stopped selling it, I mean don't they (butchers) have brains? It was very tasty.

Tongue! no no no, just the thought of it sends a shiver down the spine, even though its halal.

Although I've probably had it as a kid and my mum never told me :-(

My favourite is chicken liver, Mmmm!

So if eating tongue gives you more talking power, I wonder if eating brain would work in the same manner...I wonder...

So logic would be, eating sheep brain, would mean having a brain of a sheep...interesting!

Actually, Sheep are the most calm animals and it teaches man to be patient! So I guess if you know someone who is patient, very patient, then they may of had sheep brain for dinner at some stage in their life.

So, I wouldn't argue if someone said I had a brain of a sheep ;p

Im not sure about brains but eating tongue does give one more talking power. I can attest to that!

Maybe someone who knows someone who ate brains can tell us about 'before and after' results :)

No talking about yourself plz!

Brother, without Daleel to believe in such matters would be bidah. Is this authentic? What our parents teach us, is it from an authentic source?

Or is it old wives tales, traditions and custom?

Daleel brother...daleel!

When I ride my 160cc bike, I dont find any changes inside my nafs whereas When I ride my brother's 350 cc Royal Enfield bullet I feel some proud. I know my Nafs is enjoying that pride, I know its a mistake. I need to stop that activity.

This hadith reminds me whenever I ride the bullet or wear a better watch/dress.
... Pride and arrogance are characteristics of the owners of horses and camels,.... while modesty and gentleness are the characteristics of the owners of sheep."
