Alhamduillah, the ulamah jama't right now is in our masjid and from past 2 days there's been many talks, yesterday after esha we had special gathering and the topic was about the upcoming itjemas. Masha Allah the talk was very beneficial and came to know many new things.

I came across a brother the other day on one of the other forums, he was a regular poster, used to post good stuff, then he just disappeared and never came back, brothers who knew him Walahu'Alam say that he has become a Buddhist. Pretty sad stuff.

From what I learnt in my youth from Hindu and Sikh friends, there original laws are very strict, I.e. women not allowed to show there hair, strictly no meat or alcohol, etc.

I was surprised to learn that the Sikhs holy book contained a Surah from the Qur'an.

We have to remember that these religions were manmade. So whatever deemed as good that they found around them at the time or good found from other religions was added to their own scriptures.
