I use my holiday to go there ONLY for the wife. Otherwise I would avoid it at any cost. Over the last few years I've been spending my holidays from work to go for hajj and Umrah. Otherwise who in their right mind would even think of going to a torture chamber for holiday.

I'm glad the kids are having fun, we got them chicks, goats, rabbits, 8 different types of birds and a couple of fish.

He's mentioned 'holiday' akhii somewhere :p

Seriously those were my thoughts too. I know other brothers who got married abroad too but they never go and they just send their wives and when they want to go on holiday they're (the wives) not interested, so brother ends up going with his mates on a lads holiday

I call that a win win now :p

Akhi thousands and thousands flock from the UK to PK yearly you'd be surprised. Prices go for double the amount they usually are. The funny thing is when your on the plane and the pilot announces we have reached Lahore/Islamabad now people immediately get up and start taking there stuff down lol , it's hilarious.

Reminds me of college days, ask someone if they going somewhere in the summer, standard reply would be ' yeah I'm going paki land for 2 months' lol.

Sister, please don't mind the comments, us members in the UK like to comment on everything outside our comfort zone. There are positives and negatives on all countries, even the UK.

Amazed by the following, this is second time I've heard of someone coughing up a tumour....

A terminally ill British teenager, who has raised nearly 3 million for Teenage Cancer Trust, has coughed up a tumour.

The teen was extremely ill last week, fighting for his life and posting a poignant final farewell in Facebook.
Via his Facebook page, Stephen's Story, he revealed that his breathing had become very difficult due to the collapse of his right lung - until he suffered a coughing fit.

Stephen Sutton, 19, of Burntwood, Staffordshire, who was diagnosed with incurable colorectal cancer at the age of 15, said:
"This whole week has been pretty unbelievable and I can barely fully get my head round everything that has gone on, but yesterday there was perhaps the most bizarre but fortunate twist in the tale yet.

"From around mid afternoon yesterday I developed a slight cough which slowly got worse as the day went on. From mid evening yesterday I developed a slight 'wheeze' in my breathing again which gradually got worse. After some visitors I had round in the evening left I tried sitting up in a chair, but straight away started asking the nurse to increase my oxygen levels as I was getting extremely short of breath. I then returned to my bed where I stabilised slightly for a while, but my breathing was still not right.

"After a lying there for a bit longer the coughing increased and then suddenly the shortness of breath became incredibly severe. Amongst frantic hand pointing and panicking I felt like I was like suffocating. Then I forced out an oval red stained solid object through my mouth. My breathing and airway straight away felt clearer, but I spent the next hour violently coughing and choking, but then eventually my breathing once again stabilised.

"Since then, my breathing has dramatically improved. I'm really stuck for the words of how to describe it. Throughout the night my throat was pretty sore but my 02 and other saturation levels are great. This morning I am relying on NO external oxygen to breath at all and I'm feeling bloody fantastic!!

"The doctors have discussed what's happened and the only plausible conclusion is that I've literally coughed up a tumour (probably along with bits of infection etc) that was blocking my airway. I have had an X-ray this morning which seems to show my right lung has inflated slightly, suggesting the substance I coughed up was also a significant pressure that was causing a restriction on the collapsed lung. Physiologically a tumour breaking away like this is possible, but it all just seems incredibly surreal- mind, I'm not complaining!

"My lungs are still pretty messy with other tumours, clots and potential infections/inflammations/etc affecting my overall condition but, for now at least, I am in a good stable state. I have no immediate problems and in fact feel better than I did when I first came into hospital last Sunday!"

I wonder how many anti-Islam people take advantage of Ibn Uthaymean fatwa "the sun goes round the earth according to Qur'an and Sunnah" and Bin Bazz fatwa "the earth is flat" to demean Islam. And just today I browse another forum and a Salafi posted that Einstein equation E=MC2 is Shirk, for blindly following islamweb fatwa. Suddenly he said we shouldn't believe in science. I sincerely hope muslims and non-muslims alike didn't mistaken such absurdity as "the real Islam".

It reminds me several years ago in Salafi halaqa and the ustaadh said that using logic for deen is bid'ah and haraam, it's a traits of Mu'tazilah. We should "follow Qur'an and Sunnah without question", not logic. God knows that without logic, I would never converted to Islam. I don't believe logic to be all-and-above religion, but it certainly helps.

Sorry for this bleak ranting but needs some place to vent. Wallahi this just made me sad.

In Pakistan if you have millions then there is no problems and you can live like a King and people work for you, clean for you, drive your car...Generator gives you electricity

If you don't have money then you have issues.

One of my relatives uses the same Gym as Junaid Jamshaid and the application fee is 2 LAKH Rupees for the Gym in Lahore.

One Ice-cream in Lahore is like 1500 Rupees near Bahria Town so money talks.

I have never seen so much money as these people have...They have Brand New BMW SUV's just standing around in their Garage in Lahore

Having Muslim ( though sinner) friends is wayy betr than havin kafir friends..

Hearing 5 times Azaan live is wayy better than just hearin the recorded one..

This post has been reported. It could be due to breaking rules or something as simple as bad use of bbcodes which breaks the page format. We will attend to this soon.

Shaykh (Mufti) Taqi Usmani (HA) came to UK and said:

  1. There are more men in UK with Beard then Pakistan
  2. There are more women in UK with Shar'i Pardah then Pakistan
  3. There are more children and families in UK who recite Masnoon duas then Pakistan

But you are right and I agree with you to certain extent for Pakistanees (like me).

However for Indians, where do you want them to go? Live with the Hindus???
