Are you asking because the mechanisms inside may be made of gold?

Or is it because the barelwi also say so?

Anyways, normally there would be a moderator rule here.

;-)

In that case, insha'Allah the Casio pathfinder is a better alternative.

A question for those who wear a watch...

When asked the time, do you take out your phone?

No, I look at my watch. Watch is an extension of your personality its what defines you while phone is just a phone

I was wondering coz my phone was in the car when I went to get a parking ticket at the meter and the time was on the parking meter screen but as I didn't have my phone I still stopped someone to ask them the time as if that's the only place the time is displayed. I think I've become too dependant on it. So I thought the same might happen with people who "still" wear watches

I love watches too

I could do a thread in that too ;-)

But at the moment I've only got 3 left, gave the rest away or gifted them.

I donated a DKNY watch to MS to raise funds.

Currently I wear my favorite Bvlgari.

Isn't the cross the trademark for swiss (company) gosh remember having this conversation about hot cross buns....so were they Haram to eat because of the cross, this subject brings back a few nightmares so I'm politely opting out.
