Some salafis have opened up some ruqya shop in our local area. I would think the vast majority of them are amateurs. Have heard of some interesting amil lately who prescribes the following; there is Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Khawajgi, from Lahore, who does the treatment with "Tawajjoh", no taweezat, amals, wazaef, etc. except that the patient is required 3 conditions, i.e. to be regular strictly regular with 5 times prayers, recite 1st kalima 70.000 in one month and do a "mannat" without disclosing to him, that once the patient is completely cured will give for Dr. saheb's langar, there's no limits to this mannat but of course what he says that it's fi sabilILLAH, so ALLAH SWT knows what patient's capacity is. He asks the patients to stop any other amals and remove all taweezat.
