The heat I can bear, I've done it before too awkwardly but I just end up having about 5 cold showers a day :D

What would be a big problem is those desi toilets. A few friends of mine also seem to struggle with it lol

Some brothers find Bagladesh the hardest out of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, a lot end up with malaria due to the mosquito bites or big time stomach problems.

I'm an ardent fan of the Desi toilet. It's closer to the Sunnah, safer for avoiding najaasat, and even healthier from a medical standpoint.

Palestinians injured in al-Aqsa clashes

Israeli police have wounded dozens of Palestinians with stun grenade canisters and rubber-coated bullets after opening Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque compound to Jewish visitors.

Wednesday's clashes were the second this week, after Israeli police similarly opened the compound to non-Muslim visitors on Sunday.

Many Palestinians, already wounded from the attacks, stayed inside the al-Aqsa mosque out of fear they would be arrested when leaving.

The Haram al-Sharif, which includes the al-Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the Rock, is Islam's third holiest site and is known to Jews as the Temple Mount.

Non-Muslim visits to the compound are permitted, but Jews are not allowed to pray at the site under Israeli law.

Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told AFP news agency that Palestinians threw "stones and firecrackers" at police after the walled compound's gates had been opened. Israeli police fired stun grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at the Palestinians.

On Monday, police arrested five Jews suspected of intending to sacrifice a goat at the al-Aqsa mosque complex, in a bid to reenact an ancient Passover ritual.

Palestinians anticipate incursions into the compound by groups of Jewish extremists, as Jewish fringe groups have vowed to demolish the mosques and build a third Temple. (Al Jazeera)

Mashaallah that is correct.

Yes fatawahs have been highlighted for inaccuracies. There is a big difference, between highlighting an inaccurate fatawah in a negative light and highlighting an accurate fatawah in a negative light, Alhumdulillah the latter has not taken place. Admin has already addressed these issues on the following thread....

www.muftisays.com/forums/14-peoples-say/8656-do-i-tolerat...

Please refrain from derailing threads, and kindly move your discussions to the debate section. The lack of cooperation is really causing much inconvenience to myself, as I'm really unwell today. Brother muadh has offered to discuss with members whatever that you need to discuss away from the main forum.

Try to keep positive thoughts on site admins, authorizers and other members.

I have received a particular related pm, which I'm unable to respond to at the moment, but will do so at nearest convenient opportunity.

I apologize for causing you inconvenience. May Allah give you shifa'.

As per your request, I have avoided any further derailment of the thread by posting here.

However, I will say that the bold statement below is highly inaccurate:

There's nothing more I can say brother, if you feel my statement is inaccurate, then so be it. The conversations are going from one thread to another, and comments are picked up on and taken to and fro. No matter what is said, I'm sure my words will be scrutinized and fault will be found in it.

If there's anything I've said that's inaccurate may Allah increase my knowledge and forgive my shortcomings. Jazakallah for pointing it out.

My Brother in Islam,

Ready to be corrected by you anywhere anytime in public or private after you clearly answer one question.

Background:

Shaykh (Mufti) A.S. Desai (RA) issued a Fatwa relating to the Kuf'r of Shaykh (Maulana) Tariq Jameel (HA) clearly stating that he doesn't even know him.
Shaykh (Mufti) A.S. Desai (RA) one of the most Senior Ulamah of South Africa Shaykh (Maulana) Ebraheem Bham as "Reverend"
Shaykh (Mufti) A.S. Desai (RA) referred to Hashim Amla as a monkey and a prostitue

Question:

Lets agree with your stance that my mannerism is distasteful and in correct, does the rules of Shariah only apply to me or to other Muslims (Ulamah included) as well?

Its your rules so if you say that it only applies to me and no other Muslim and that is your reason for your displeasure with me; that's fine but at least admit it.

I am asking because you are chosing to judge me and once you have clarified we can discuss exactly what you find distasteful

I don't wish to further derail the original thread.

Firstly there is a big difference between a laymen (like you and me) scrutinizing, belittling, and ridiculing an 'Aaalim and an 'Aaalim speaking out against another 'Aaalim (albeit in what you perceive to be harsh language).

Regarding the Fatwa against Maulana Tariq Jameel, here was your inappropriate statement with a response form Mufti Sahib:

Commenting on our answer regarding Tariq Jameel, the critic said: "This is a very strange Fatwa! Hazrat admits that he doesn't know this "chap" called Taeiq Jameel, has no research into what he has said and YET chose to remove the title "Maulana" on the basis of an e-mail and ascribed him to a bedfellow of Kuffar Shiahs, all based on an e-mail."

OUR RESPONSE

On this issue the brother has demonstrated extreme bigotry and vindictiveness. Beside a snide and emotional remark, he has not refuted the basis for the view regardless of whether that basis has been supplied to us via e-mail. The basis comprises of the following facts:

- Tareeq Jameel prayed in a Shiah temple.
- He ate food with Shiahs who accuse Hadhrat Aishah (radhiyallahu anha) of the foulest act of immorality and who brand 99% of the Sahaabah kaafir, and who subscribe to the most revulsive beliefs of kufr.
- He took haraam pictures with the Shiahs
- He believes that such vile Shiahs are not kaafir.

The brother has not refuted a single one of these grave charges levelled against Tariq Jameel. Regardless of who had made these allegations, if the brother believes then to be false, then he should reject the claims as false, and present his proof. But despite shying away from the facts, he finds fault with our view based on the aforementioned solid basis.

Regardless of our unawareness of the chap, the brother should not be concerned with that. He should academically refute the charges which have been levelled against the chap. He should be aware that Ulama have written books in refutation of Tariq Jameel. When time permits and if Allah Ta'ala bestows the taufeeq to us, we shall study all the relevant information. We shall then be in a position to acquit ourselves with greater confidence and emphasis, Insha-Allah.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You must understand that when Maulana speaks out against someone, he does it out of his ghairah and bughd fillah. Maulana Desai disagree with the stances of Maulana Bham (can you blame him?) and criticizes him based on that. This is the same Maulana Bham whom another devotee of the majlis, a pious sufi, refused to pray salaat behind. He would walk out of the Masjid whenever Maulana Bham would be leading salaat.

Regardless, Mufti Desai is quite clear in mentioning that laymen and non-ulema should not use the language he uses, and should not go to the level of criticism he does. Because there is a clear difference between 'Aaalim vs. 'Aaalim and Layperson vs. 'Aalim. Understand that well.

I will not be responding to anymore questions. Let us just wait for Hadhrat Deobands thread insha'Allah.
