I think escape velocity is a considerable factor here.

Nope, has nothing to do with escape velocity.

Since you mentioned the answer I kinda figured it out.

Centripetal force i guess. Or was is it called centrifugal force. Basically the person on top of the roof ll be like a ball tied to a string(the building in this case) and rotated. There will be an inward force that ll act like gravity.

This is guess work. Lol.

You're closer, but still not correct.

Think about it, why exactly would the astronauts orbiting the earth in the ISS be floating, but you would not be floating on the roof of a very high building, despite being the same height as them? You would still feel basically the same gravity as you would feel down at sea level, so is gravity "turned off' for them, and not you? Or is it something else...

I'll let you figure it out.

The astronaut in the space station orbits own its own pace.
The Man on the building moves with the Earth.

Other than centripetal force, I don't have any other theory.

Basically the Gravitational force is the same for both, since there is no difference between the distance between the two bodies and the masses are same.

My only other guess is that the astronaut in the space station is in a 'perpetually free falling' state. Hence the gravity is not felt.

Exactly! The astronauts are falling, but you (on top of the building) are not falling. Hence they do not feel gravity (but its still there), but you do. Masha'Allah.

wassalaam.

Down, of course. They are falling towards the center of the Earth. But they never get any closer because they have a huge sideways velocity.

Hair contains information about everything that has been in your bloodstream: medicine, drugs, minerals, vitamins.
The only thing that CAN'T be identified by hair is gender.

Most food has enough water in it for the bacteria to grow. Bacteria cannot grow in dry foods such as milk powder and soup mixes. But once water is added to the dry food, the bacteria can start to grow again.

Technically there is no up or down in space because there are no reference points. But when I say the astronauts are falling, I mean they are accelerating towards the center of the Earth. That is "down".

This is important

I have to prepare an article for an Islamic magazine. I've chosen a topic and I'm searching for scholarly articles on it. The topic is based on the idea that there is actually no segregation/division between Deeni and worldly education. I got this idea some years ago. But recently I've come to know that even some Deobandi 'Ulama opined like this. Brother Muadh_Khan also raised this issue in a thread. By creating a barrier between educations we are making our condition worse because two huge groups have been created (especially in Indian subcontinent)- one is the group of 'Ulama who think worldly education is worthless and another group is comprised of worldly educated people who are in delusion that they are the "real educated/civilized" people.

Please please provide me some materials related to this matter. Jazakallaahu khayra.
