I don't think anyone will be able to give you a definite answer.

Try next door (well a couple of doors away) in the complex after zamzam towers, there is s place where they serve the best egg and veg dish called something like Matabaka, 10riyals. It's scrambled eggs with a bit of salad, cream cheese and chilli (optional). Very nice. Had it every day almost.

Second floor of As-Safwah tower in front of the escalators, few shops down.

The food hall there is much better than Hilton.

This is random thread right, so can I rant?

Once a Salafi asked me really strange questions :

"If indeed the Prophet is alive in grave, then why didn't he just come out of his grave and solve the problem of ummah today? Why is the tashahud recitation was "assalamu 'alaika yaa ayyuhannabiyoo" Why calling "yaa Nabi" in salaah, isn't Prophet now DEAD? That recitation really doesn't make sense"

I had explained the hadiths and warned him that it's Rasulullah who taught this matter but he returned to the questions above. Then on and on we're speaking about tawassul I had spoken the hadiths but he was like :

"why should I trust you regarding these hadiths? I don't reject hadith I just reject the way you use hadiths to make tawassul permissible" while he clearly playing words to reject the authentic hadiths!!!

GRRRR I really want to slap that person if only that's permissible!

In tashahud it is "AS-SALAMU ALAIKA AY-YUHAN NABIU WARAHMATULLAHI WABARKATUHU" .

The word YA doesn't comes.

[1/2] In the early 1990’s Maulana Umar Palunpuri (RA) was asked as to why Tableeghi Jamaat thinks less of Jihad and Afghan Shuhuda?

[2/2] Maulana Umar Palunpuri (RA) replied forget Shuhuda, the Muslim who removes thorns from path of people (sincerely) is beloved to Allah!

Sorry sister I couldn't get the food uploaded last nite, we had a powercut in my part of London and was unable to do anything.

I think its called, "Matabaka" but you can clarify if you find it.

My brother sent it us for a little teaser, MashaAllah, they've gone to visit all 3 holy mosques.

I also recited it without "yaa" but this guy insisted it's actually with "yaa" then said it doesn't make sense because the weight of the recitation was equal to saying yaa Nabi in salaah.

And he said that basically everybody lives in the grave in Barzakh so why just it is said for the prophet or awliya who lived in the grave if everybody does. If everybody is basically dead, the Prophet too is basically dead and we cannot make the dead wake up from grave, how can I answer this??

I think it was Aliرضي الله عنه who said, 'I always lose when I argue with fools.'

So save yourself the trouble. Leave the guy alone n make dua for his hidayah.

I've had that in Madinah, it is quite delicious. However I think I was told a different name for it, had it after getting hijamah done in Madinah Munawwarah.

Brings back memories.
