Complete Quran recited by 54 different Qaris.

It works even without internet
No down load required, just plug in your head phones.

Advice:
Plz share it. bcz this is sadqah jaariyah (running sadqah)for you.

That is similar to this www.quran4iphone.com/MenuPhotosEN.html

It doesn't download the recitation, it streams it. i.e. it does use internet, so if you are accessing it via your phone, please do be careful as not to incur additional charges by exceeding your data plan.

Mufti Muhammad Sajjad's book, Islam: Friend or Foe is excellent. I recommend it, also...

With everything going on in Lebanon, especially Tripoli, I've often wondered if the brother who used to post on SF with that name is okay? Is anyone in contact with him? May Allah keep our brothers and sisters in the region safe and grant them strength and victory. Ameen.

Just a warning for sisters wearing jilbabs, my friend got the bottom of her jilbab caught inbetween the escalators steps today, everyone around her started panicking, الحمد لله she was very calm, she told someone to press the emergency stop button, and she had to be cut lose.

This isn't the first time, few years back a friend's little boy got his shoe lace trapped in the escalators. Remember...don't panic, ask someone to press the emergency stop button first. I've always seen one at the bottom of the escalators not sure if they have one at the top....and always secure any loose clothing or footwear before stepping on.

Just landed back in UK and all our baggage is lost! And I knew that because the connection was through Paris and I said to the desk in America that French people are useless and always mess things up! The guy said I always hear things about the French!

In UK I said to the lost counter "Its probably in Paris" and they said "Yes, more then likely...Nobody else loses baggage except the French"

:p Everything is gone...

Jazakallahu Khayran for everyone's dua and well wishes.

Its not the end of the world since Insha'Allah it will be found and if not it will be compensated for as its covered by the Airline. And I think the Credit Card also provides Travel Insurance which also covers all this. I checked the paper work and I can file for compensation after 21 days and it will probably take a couple of weeks for the money to come in IF they don't find it. All the gifts and clothes will need to be re-purchased!

There are bigger things to worry about in life then baggage but it lets you c heck your response to troubles. IF we leave it to Allah (SWT) then its fine and IF we just react and get flustered then its not fine!

But French!!! :p

We were in Madina and loading luggage on buses and someone said, "I am looking at these gifts which people have bought for their loved ones and suitcases upon suitcases and then I can picture that the entire belongings of our Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) which would probably fit a quarter of a small suitcase"

The thought wakes you up, doesn't it?
