is this what are you searching khala?

You are of Turkish origin and also speak (fluent) English. Do you insert Turkish words in your English when spending time on an English forum without translation despite having very good command of English and knowing fully well that you are on an English forum?
Cultural anecdotes need to be conveyed and lessons from them learned but it can only be done if the person reading it can understand it. Ofcourse people are free to write stuff in Urdu, Turkish, Swahili, Cantonese, French whatever as long as the ALL READERS are able to comprehend.
Is Urdu superior to Turkish and are you under obligation to learn and understand Urdu to spend time with Deobandees? Why? Urdu comes from Turkish so if anything we should be under obligation to learn Turkish, logically speaking.
And all of us should be under obligation to learn Arabic,Islamically speaking.
I thought the objective of Tassawuff is to save others from inconvenience???
This problem is occuring from pride and haughtiness of imposing Asian culture onto the whole world and smug superiority that our Akabir spoke Urdu therefore you must also understand it. In UK and USA Masjids when Non-Asians ask for translations they are given token attention and even reprimanded for not knowing Urdu. We have a large number of younger generation of Asian Muslims who have almost no knowledge of Urdu yet our talks, Ta'leem is still done in Urdu.
Majority of Asian Muslims in UK are Gujratees (Indians), Mirpurees (Kashmirees), Punjabees (Pakisatnees) and Pushtuns (Pakistanees) none of them speak Urdu either as a first language or with any special degree of fluency and regularly make mistakes in speaking and writing.
UK Darul-uloom teachers regularly make glaring mistakes while speaking and writing Urdu. UK Darul-uloom graduates have very little proficiency in reading Urdu commentaries of our Akabirs and its painful to even sit throughly lectures where they are trying to read the Malfoozat of Hazrat Thanwi (RA)...
Listening to half Urdu or our British and American brothers is painful in Islamic talks on youtube and MP3s.
Ridicolous circus...
South African Ulamah seem to have better grasp of Urdu

Sister,
If you are interested in Deobandees, I highly recommend that you read the works of Shaykhul-Hind Mahmud al-Hasan Deobandi (RA) who was the first student and graduate of Darul-uloom Deoband.
In my (naive) view he is the Mujaddid of India because most (notable) Deobandees are his students in Fiqh, Hadeeth, Tassawuff and political revival.
You will notice that most (laymen) Deobandees neither talk about him nor know much about him and skip to his students like Hazrat Thanwi (RA), thus effectively starting from the 2nd generation.
