Masha'Allah, yes SABR wa SHUKR was what I was thinking of but of course there are no clear cut answers and I wanted to leave it that way to see what other interpretations MSers would have.
Well, in terms of apples... it actually takes lots of hard work and patience to specifically grow apples (not talking about wild trees and I don't even know if they exist in many places anymore) but all things come from Allah Ta'aala. Apples were just an example but subhanAllah, it is totally amazing how a tiny seed from a single apple holds an entire tree with the potential to be full of apples year after year, for multiple years - granted the tree is pollinated and granted creation waits for the right time to taste it... which also points to how inter-dependent Allah Ta'aala has created His creation.
