Just a little update.

I think someone mentioned that the battery was not so good on the one x and would heat up etc.

Well I have it and it nothing of the kind, it is excellent. I have the S3 too but I prefer the one X over it any time. I used both for an equal amount of time and did the same things with it and the one x won hands down for what I need it for.

Superb software on the HTC, I guess that's why I prefer it over the Samsung software. Even though both use jelly bean.

I have the One X too and Alhumdulillah the battery is good without draining out too quick. I also have a Samsung tablet and agree the user interface is way more friendly with HTC than Samsung.

DONT TRY THIS AT HOME (And Yes, they do have other videos demonstrating the iPhone)

The technology is new and failed in version 1 but version 2 seems to work much better.

Why can't they do this to all handsets any way?

Basically, its Nano technology. They coat the phone with liqupel, put it in the oven and done, the entire handset is sealed with a water proof protection.

This is a genuine news paper report. With no intention to mock apple, purely to help my fellow brothers and sisters with iPhones.

DON'T UPGRADE YOUR iOS.

I got to use the HTC One, absolute awesome phone. Great additions and technology. But you know what, it all came down to one important comment by the salesman.

Quote:
The One is the One to go for, if you want quality, speed, functions, abilities, otherwise go for the one x or galaxy s3 which you already have. on the other hand, if you just want status then go for the iphone.

So the salesman narrowed the iphone down to pride! (and grinned while pulling his own iPhone out of his pocket)

You're so rude abu muhammad....im beginning to lose a lot of respect for you...you should think before you type even if it is just banter....doesnt it occure to you that your statement itself boasts pride? No? Well then read it and rethink...

Jazakallah. And appreciate the honesty. Apologies if I sounded rude, it wasn't something I intended. I didn't see pride in quoting what he said, rather he was trying to tell me something because my handsets are a lot cheaper than the iPhone. SubhanAllah.

I found his comments rather surprising too because he was implying that I needed a status and that I could get that status by owning an iPhone. He knew what model(s) I had because he asked as he wanted me to compare the handsets with the new model to see the differences.

I only quoted what he said.

Well, that's one view. Abu Mohammed was only passing a salesman's thought who himself felt guilty of pride. Personally I don't see why a person would get an iPhone for any reason other than that 1) they prefer it 2) the quality 3) they're used to it or 4) everyone around them has one too.

I had an iPhone for just over a year a few years ago for no other reason than "Let's see what all the fuss is about and can I develop for it" - everyone has their reasons but to me pride makes no sense because I've seen how Daywalker (member) walks around with a Nokia with his head held high

Maybe pride could have been a possible reason if an iPhone was worth being proud of : )
