Happy to read that you have been inspired by apple but have settled for less, and I'm not sure why I'm the only iPhone spokesperson on here, when I've been given thumbs up by many others.

If you pay for something cheap and expect it to crash, it will. If you pay for something expensive and don't expect it to crash, then it won't.

Anyway I don't think there's much of a price difference between a latest HTC, Nokia, Samsung, etc handset, compared to an iPhone, and I don't think there's any difference in feature between the top end phones, they all do the same thing.

There's not much difference in price in THAT range, all the other brands care to cater for everyone. Apple don't care, they're just plain greedy. They only target the vulnerable who "Believe" they are gettingthe best. They simply haven't tasted the rest.

Inspiration is one thing, lets not forget who bought smartphone's to the world.

IPhone came from the iPod, that's all. Smartphones were out before that.

I would recommend you check what's in your budget and not buy something on the basis that it advertises as the "Best", rather see what performs best. If it's iPhone and you like it's limited approach, then by all means go for it.

If you don't like big screens, then you may be in for a surprise, so you can look into other handsets that have various specs and sizes for all budgets.

For Apple fans who don't like big screens, I hope they make iPhones to keep every Apple fan happy.

MashaAllah.

I am so pleased to see that you are busy at work. Alhumdulillah, that's a good sign.

Sister moonlight, I use to love iPhone until I started reading reviews on other phones on this thread and I was blown away by what was available, check the specs and features on the HTC one and compare it to the iPhone, even better go instore and try out a handset, you'll be amazed.

Android VS iPhone

www.fussabout.com/android-vs-iphone

The smart phone war is waging hard between the giants Google's Android and Apple's iPhone; so where does that leaves us; we the consumers; well we benefit from this rivalry; by the wide choices it provide; and the technical advancements it brings in blinding speed; but how do we make choices; well; we have thought about this; and we made this comparison; based on what we have experienced using both Android and iPhone.

The Operating System:
Android is an Open Source controlled and is under guidance by Google. That means companies releasing the Android can make changes to the operating system.

Apple's iPhone operating system is made by Apple and only Apple can make changes to the iPhone Operating System.

4G Data Networks:
Android is capable of utilizing 4G data networks. Apple's 4, is not and 4 has nothing to do with 4G. It rather means 4Th. generation of iPhone.

Hardware Design:

Android is used by many mobile manufacturers; while only Apple can produce the iPhone.

Where to Run Apps:

Android applications can run on many devices including cars, tablets, desktop phones and even microwave ovens; made by many companies. Apple's applications - to date - are limited to iPhone and Apple iPad Tablet.

Text Entry:

Android based devices can support both Touch Screen or Slide keyboard. while iPhone users have only one choice; Touch Screen.

GPU - Graphic Processing Unit:

Devices running Android like Samsung i9000 Galaxy S can compute 90 million triangles per second. iPhone can compute 28 million triangles per second.

Adobe's Flash Support:

Android has full support for Adobe Flash, while Apple has banned any flash technology on its devices; iPhone and iPad do not support Adobe's Flash.
HOWEVER, KITKAT (Android 4.4) HAS NOW REMOVED FLASH PLAYER SUPPORT

Notifications:

Background services on Android devices allow apps to have access to the notification background services. The only way to check if Twitter or Flicker is updated on iPhone is to open each individual apps to check it manually.

Interchangeable Batteries:

Android devices can have interchangeable devices depending on manufacturer; however this feature is not available on iPhone.
SOME TOP RANGE HANDSETS IN ANDROID HAVE ALSO HAVE FIXED BATTERIES TO GIVE A SOLID MAKE

Apps Stores:

Android apps stores are not limited to the Android Market by Google, while iPhone users are limited to one store iPhone Apps Store.
