Jazakallahu Khair brother Rizmalek for your PM.

As requested, I have posted my PM in reply to your PM query below.

[quote="abu mohammed's PM"]No, no biggy. Its just that I went to see a grand scholar once, someone Mufti Taqi Usmani seeks/seeked advice from. Anyway, he realy loves my son Mohammed and daughter Madihah. So he asked me how I spelt it. I showed him. Then he said that there is a dictionary of congress in which they have tried to make the English alphabet as close to the Arabic language as possible to give the most accurate pronounciation.

He explained with the example of Alhumdu - Alhamdu - Alhumdo. The difference with the A & U in this word does not affect the meaning, but the letter O changes it dramatically.

Alhumdo with an "O" translates to Assasin as it changes the vowels and symbols of the Arabic language.

He explained that MU is more closer to MEEM PESH MU, rather than having it as MEEM WOW PESH MO.

I hope that makes sense.

My son says, inshaAllah, he too will name his son after the Prophet (SAW) but will spell it correctly when the time comes. He's only 10.

I was going to put this on your thread, but I'll leave it to you, I can add it later if you thinks I should.

Jazakallahu Khair.

I know some Gujarati people with these names.

Hussain is very popular as a middle name amongst them too.

One of the reasons why a few dont keep the name Hussain is because of the Shia, although in India, you will find many Hussains due to the Barelwi's there, who have a very strong connection with the Shia ideology.

Very beautiful names, nevertheless.
