@guest - when you're done looking down on Muslims and Ulamaa (who follow Saudi), maybe you can contribute something constructive without innuendo and ? Much appreciated.

Just to note: I will never fall into the moonsighting argument as this argument is probably older than me. If it's not been solved in my lifetime, there's a good reason and perfectly good chance it won't be solved via forums.

People are quick to blame Ulamaa yet when the Ulamaa try, no one listens. I used to blame Ulamaa too until I came across the amount arguments on every single forum.

One of the members got a lot of stick recently on this forum so I'm posting this here thanks to the above post by guest.

Back to the "light side" - speaking of, the curse of this issue is such that even a light sided topic can turn into something like this from one degrading sentence like the one above.

All future posts on this topic if not constructive will be deleted without notice.

After reading the above, you'd be suprised to know that I don't disagree with Wifaqul Ulamaa in case you think "O great, another 'saudi follower' - there's racist, fascist, sexist and now there's a new one, 'Hilaalist'

Can anyone come up with a better title?

Asalamalikum,i just want to say i am upset on the fact that eid has split up yet again,it really hurts some of us will be fasting and some will be celebrating.its really distressing i think i am going to cry,no unity withen us.

And i really dont know anything on moon sighting thing,so no comment on that.its just painful we are all muslims but we do eid on diffrent days.:-(

Just like to clarify as you already know, I too am pro Wifaq.

But when the whole community is doing one thing, where does one go.

Can't go to the salafi place either. Obviously.

@admin. I wouldn't go for hilaalist. Under what basis. They don't look for hilal.

Soon I will take your approach and step out with dignity.

As for names, I think...... Better not.

...from my part id like to give a HUGE Jzk to Muftisays. It was on this very site back in Dec 2007 i had a full on argument with someone who doesnt follow saudi. This was approx 1 week before Eid-Adha. It was me on the Pro-Saudi side and the other person (a sister and her brother) on the other.

I typed up a full list of the approx 10 UK darul looms, then i typed a full list of each main principle of those darul looms, and other main teachers from those darul looms - each name by name. Then along with them i typed all the young english speaking ulama (born and bred in UK) who you normally see doing talks up and down the UK - all mentioned by name and all following Saudi Vs the sister's 1 tiny unknown masjid in Walthamstow ;-)

...7 days past and about 5-6 pages on the thread...i had no option but to drop my emotionally attachment and unfounded so called 'daleel'..ended up praying EidAdha Salaah at Queens road Dec 2007. That was me on my jacks no one from Hackney or my family (3 brothers and 3 sisters)..

....the following year Mufti Farooq (of Muftisays) left following Saudi also the same time as Mufti Saeed Palunpuri's (HA) infamous moonsighting talk...

...today also i prayed tarawi alongside Molana Qamruz Zaman (HA) also of Muftisays!

JAZAKALLAH MUFTISAYS!!
