Asalaamuyaykm here a few riddle poems to challenge yourself
hope you get the answers inshallah

1. I tower over the man-made plain;
My peaks scrape the heavens.
I have many brothers; in fact,
We may be as many as a hundred and seven.

We're as ancient as the oldest trees,
But not older than the hills.
We've been studied for centuries now,
But with mystery we're still filled.

2. I have streets but no pavement,
I have cities but no buildings,
I have forests but no trees,
I have rivers yet no water.
What am I?

3. I am the black child of a white father, a wingless bird, flying even to the clouds of heaven. I give birth to tears of mourning in pupils that meet me, even though there is no cause for grief, and at once on my birth I am dissolved into air. What am I?

4. I am small as an ant and big as a whale,
I can soar through the air like a bird with a tail.
I can be seen by day and not by night,
I can be seen with a big flash of light.
I follow whoever controls me by the sun,
but I fade away when dark fell like a ton.
What am I?

5. He who builds me doesn't want me,
he who buys me doesn't use me,
he that uses me doesn't know he's got me.
What am I?

6. What does man love more than life,
fear more then death or mortal strife,
what the poor have the rich require,
and all contented men desire.
What misers spend and spendthrifts save
and all men carry to the grave?

7. You may enter, but you may not come in,
I have space, but no room,
I have keys, but open no lock.
What am I?

8. 30 white horses upon a red hill,
first they start stamping,
then they stand still.
What are the 30 white horses?

9. What kills kings,
what makes mountains crumble,
and makes all life come to an end?

10. In marble walls as white as milk,
Lined with skin as soft as silk,
In a fountain crystal clear,
A golden treasure does appear.
There are no doors to this stronghold,
Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.
What is it?

11. When I'm young I'm tall
When I'm old I'm short
When I'm alive I glow
Because of your breath I die
What am I?

12. What is wider than life itself
Longer than forever
So simple it's complicated
Travels but never leaves the spot
Puts others in danger but no one gets hurt
And reaches to worlds unknown?
