I suspect it's not actually possible, because of the fact that aside from the 5, all the other digits are even, and no two digits have a difference of 5.

The only solution I have is one with powers: 5 ^((6+4)-8) = 5^(10-8) = 5^2 = 25

i had this dread that as soon as this riddle goes up, the maths fanatics would be the first to put up the answer, was very tempted to bar maths teachers, however, it makes me happy to see that your stumped, but your going to really kick yourselves because it is as it says easy peasy!!

tried that...and u get 23! I've tried loads of mind boggling equations but not getting the '25'.

If this is easy maths...what's difficult?
