Looks like members/visitors enjoy the Islamic riddles. I don't know too many but here's another that came to mind.
A husband and wife were upset with each other and were not speaking.
The husband took an oath that he would never speak to his wife until she speaks to him. The wife therefore also made an oath and said, "I will not speak to you either until you speak to me."
A little time passed, both heads were cooled down and they began to regret taking the oath. Muslims in the past were very pious and would not break oaths just like that. They put the matter forward to many Jurists and they all gave the answer that Kaffarah of Oath would have to be given.
When they enquired from Imam Abu Hanifah, he said not to worry, they can speak to each other and no Kaffarah would have to be given.
When the husband said to the wife, 'I wont talk to you until you talk to me', he did speak to her. And she made the same oath so she ended up talking to him too.. Both did talk to each other when they made the oaths. So they wouldnt be hanith if they talked to each other now.
Because their kasams (oaths) werent broken, theres no kaffara.
MashaAllah. So you've answered all 3 now? I'll wait till another one comes to mind. Till then, I have the questions section to sort out. Remember us in your Du'aas. Wassalam
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
