Received the following riddle today:

Brighter than day,

Darker than night,

A male uses it 3 times a day,

A woman uses it once in a lifetime,

I am mentioned 5 times in the Qur'aan.

my first thought was, Aaaaaagggghhhh! not again,

my second thought, maybe this person has the answer?

and guess what? this was their reply, dont know if its correct though:

Answer: MUQABIR - graveyards - made up of five letters in arabic

brighter than day - for the pious person

darker than night - for the sinner

a male uses it 3 times a day - inbetween the three forbidden times for burial

(didnt know there were impermissible times for burial)

a woman uses it once in a lifetime - when she is buried

I am mentioned 5 times in the Qur'aan - MUQABIR

(this i wouldnt know, someone would have to clarify)

The word 'muqabir' has been mentioned 8 times in the Quran.

Source

Other than the above Muqabir seems to be the answer!

I'm confused. How does a male use a graveyard 3 times a day ?

"a male uses it 3 times a day - inbetween the three forbidden times for burial

(didnt know there were impermissible times for burial)"

Can someone enlighten me please. The answer seems to be wrong in respect of the third part - how can a male use a graveyard three times a day ?

im presuming the times inbetween the three forbidden times are being calculated as three times,

however since the riddle does not make much sense i dont think the answer is of importance, since even that is hard to fully understand.
