I'm racking my brain on this one but I just don't get it..

The candle clue only makes me think it's something to do with the melting of wax..

Can we maybe have another clue or hint,please?

First clues are factual, second clue was descriptive (resembles candles on a cake), 9 and 10 in first 2 clues are quantity.

another clue: the first of 9 came in the 8th century

Another clue: For those who remember the very first layout of this web site, the answer is what used to be on the left and right hand side of the layout.

I'm looking back at the old layout.Only able to see clearly as far back as Nov 2004 and I see minarets. ??

Breaking it down,

Where there were 53 years I am 9,
Nabi (saw) spent 53 years in Makkah, so in Masjidul Haram there's 9 minarettes.

Where there were 10 I am 10,
Madinah was 10 years and in masjidun nabawi there's 10 minarets.

In the latter i stand 16 meters higher (should have said taller)
The minarets in madinah are taller. I just gave the exact difference

those were facts, the one about resemblance.
Picture candles on a cake, that's the only thing i could think of resembling minarets.

And finally, the very old layout of muftisays had minarets on either side.

Very cryptic clues but that's where the challenge is i guess.

Well, the "Fitnah Guest" (unwanted guest) managed to get himself blocked from posting. So many issues yet he still keeps coming back here.

Here's one just for him (but as he can't answer any more since he's blocked, anyone can answer)

I am considered 'bliss'
I have caused havoc in the world,
Knowledge kills me,
The one who has me never knows he has me
I cause people like the "Fitnah Guest" who is now blocked to come on this site again and again
What am I?
