We mustn't lose our respect for the scholar and maintain the teachings of our elders. At the end of the day, he was an Alim so we should at least address him with respect.
It's the length of the intro that is the topic, not the personality.
I heard the stories relating to maulana thanvi رضي الله عنه showin respect to him are false. It's not like Ibn taymiyah رضي الله عنه who said some of this wrong stuff out of ignorance and lack of understanding were as raza Khan cooked up lies n based on them called akabir kaafir
