Jazakallah. Sad but true. Fasting the day, and feasting the night. Overall, many of us end up eating a lot more than we normally would!

On the authority of Al-Miqdaam ibn Maadiy-Karib (R.A) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) say: "No human ever filled a vessel worse than the stomach. Sufficient for any son of Aadam are some morsels to keep his back straight. But if it must be, then one third for his food, one third for his drink and one third for his breath." [Ahmad, At-Tirmidhee, An-Nasaa'ee, Ibn Maajah - hadeeth saheeh.]

At-Tirmidhi (rahmatullahi alaih) and Ibn Majah (rahmatullahi alaih) narrated a hadeeth that Ibn 'Umar (radiallahu anhuma) said, "A man belched in the presence of the Prophet (salallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and he said, 'Restrain your belch from us, because those who are most well fed in the world will have the longest hunger on the Day Of Rising.'" [At-Tirmidhi - 2478, Ibn Majah - 3350]
