As an ummah we crave the closeness of our Beloved Prophet Rasulullahﷺ.  In our sincere reverence we aim to embody and emulate the sayings and actions of our Beloved Prophetﷺ. One of the best ways to gain this intimate connection and to enable the accommodation of the sunnah in body, mind and action, is the study of Hadith.

Darul Ilm Birmingham provides an intensive, three year hadith specialism course which systematically uncovers the layers of interpretation and knowledge embedded in the hadith of the Noble Prophetﷺ, not only theologically, but linguistically, pragmatically and spiritually creating detailed and intimate understanding and enhanced insights into the Sunnah. Students are expected to develop a rigourous understanding of isnaad studies, contextual understanding, classification of hadith and relative matters of fiqh as well as a renewed sense of relevance of the timeless conversations that reach us across the barrier of time.

In essence the course provides echos of the past, the life and times of the Noble Prophetﷺ and supports the development of the golden thread of the sunnah practices of our Beloved Prophetﷺ which embellished our faith.
