As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh
This is a test to evaluate using a drone in Moonsighting and observing Salah times. If the initial tests are successful, the next stage will be to repeat to observe Subh-Sadiq twilight.
This test is subject to weather conditions as the drone cannot fly if it is too windy and photography will be suboptimal if visibility is inadequate.
The reuslts of the tests will be written up and shared with Ulama and Institutes, publicly.
