if its just for ulema then why advertise it here? also what exactly happens in these ulema gatherings? is it just a get together or will they dare discuss real issues facing the ummah?

mufti taqi (ha) has great respect from muslims worldwide even the arab states look up to him ( not including the pathetic mad khalis) i dont understand why he or any sunni scholar can get more politically involved? it mains me ayatollah khomanie who fair enough was a filthy rawaafid but he was still a 'scholar' in shia terms and he managed to bring about a shia state. we have ulema just as popular as he was whom people will get behind. or am i missing something?
