"Salah is the most frequent yet fundamental act of worship and therefore has a deep connection to the Creator. Islam in its comprehensiveness has set deep principles for many aspects of our lives, particularly in establishing the prayer, as frequently mentioned in the Qur’an. With salah being the key to paradise, Islam sets great importance in performing this act of worship in the best manner possible, with the aim of ultimately attaining the pleasure of Allah.
Today as always, there is a great yearning to understand and appreciate the prayer and what is recited in it, to understand it as the beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and his companions did. This is in order to bring into salah a stronger link with The Most Merciful and to not treat it as another chore or mere ritual to be performed regularly."
