Excerpt from Ishq e Rasool
aur Ulema e Deoband by Hazrat Maulana Abu Talha Muhammed Izhar ul Hasan (db) , P: 164.
He was buried in the graveyard of Darul uloom Deoband. The elders who gave the (final) bath were deeply astonished to find the body so tender, as if to be someone alive. Such that when the hands were washed, the sound of fingers snapping was audible.
At the throes of death, (generally) eyes and jaws are half open. Nose, nasal bridge and the freshness of countenance undergo change. But each one was bewildered to see his eyes closed, lips sealed as if naturally disposed while asleep.
Such freshness was evident on his radiant face. And the luminance bore a subtle distraction of a smile that if it wasn’t concluded before, it would have been impossible to assume him by physical appearance that the pride of martyrs was dead. Each strand of his beard was groomed according to sunnah as if the coiffeuse of nature had combed it with her own hands and set his lips. The peace and tranquility cast upon his blessed face, with such liveliness and exultation capering in that radiant state was seen only upon Allamah Muhammed Anwar Shah Andarabi Kashmiri رحمة الله عليه and not on any dead after him.
